DR. ROBBYN DUPUIS
Dr. Dupuis was born and raised in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. She moved to Saskatoon upon graduation and attended the University of Saskatchewan where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2012 where she received the Varilux Award for case analysis upon graduation.
Dr. Dupuis takes special interest in Binocular Vision and Vision Therapy. She is passionate about working with children and understanding the intimate connection between vision and learning. Dr. Dupuis’ mission is helping adults and children who suffer from acquired brain injury, learning disabilities, eye movement and alignment disorders, and perceptual problems.
During her training, Dr. Dupuis worked with several renowned Optometrists and Ophthalmologists in the U.S., Canada, and abroad. She is happy to co-manage ocular disease and provide pre and post-op cataract and laser surgery care. Having had laser surgery herself, she believes this is a viable option for many patients.
Over the years, Dr. Dupuis has developed a strong passion for providing eye care for those in need both at home and abroad. She obtained a certificate in treatment and management of tropical ocular disease at the Lion’s Sight First Eye Hospital in Malawi, Africa. She was fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and Morocco on eye care missions and hopes to bring your donated glasses abroad to help others in need sometime soon!
In her spare time, Dr. Dupuis is an active member of the Saskatoon latin dance scene. She enjoys all things outdoors and is always ready for a new adventure with family and friends. Dr. Dupuis is grateful to become your full scope eye care provider and is happy to perform an eye exam in English or French.
